Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Meet Kennette Pen, a highly accomplished professional with a multifaceted background encompassing clinical research, project management, and a profound commitment to making a difference.

Kennette holds a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt from the University of California-San Diego, demonstrating exceptional leadership and advanced problem-solving skills that encompass data-driven decision-making. With an academic foundation rooted in Chemistry & Biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Kennette possesses a deep understanding of scientific principles and a keen analytical mind. Her ability to orchestrate complex initiatives and ensure their successful execution made her a highly valuable asset in the corporate and academia world, where she contributed to the success of various projects with precision and finesse.

Her journey took a poignant turn when she decided to follow her heart's calling and transitioned her skills and dedication into the nonprofit sector. Driven by an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact, she founded a nonprofit organization aimed at providing critical support and resources to survivors of sexual assault.

Currently, Kennette is on the verge of completing the Venture Capital and Private Equity Program at Columbia Business School (Q2/2024), where she's broadening her horizons and exploring innovative avenues to further her nonprofit's mission.

Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds solace and joy in the company of her beloved canine companion, Puccini Alfredo. Her commitment to creating positive change and fostering a more compassionate society shines through in both her personal and professional life.

Our Oath

As they witness the journeys of those who have emerged stronger on the other side, survivors find inspiration to rebuild their lives, demonstrating that even amidst adversity, resilience can prevail, and a brighter future is attainable. The mentorship program embodies the strength of community and the belief that together, survivors and thrivers can forge a path toward renewed hope and well-being.

Survivors Rising believes that no survivor should have to face their experiences alone. Our mentorship program is designed to help empower and support individuals as they navigate through post-traumatic stress and anxiety.

Whether you are new to Survivors Rising or have been with us for some time, we are dedicated to ensuring that all survivors receive the support they need to rebuild their lives.
